John and his crew did an outstanding job on our bathroom remodel! He always made sure what he did was exactly what I wanted! He was very easy to work with and his crew were very friendly. I had a vision of what I wanted and John made that vision come true!

He just did work on my moms home, and everytime she gave me updates she had nothing but amazing things to say about John. He build a bathroom, stairway and walls, ceiling, outside wall. Just such a wonderful job!! Thanks John, my mom is so so happy !

I needed a handrail for some steps in order to pass an FHA inspection, so I hired a builder. He had to cancel due to injury, and at the 11th hour, Down Home Contracting stepped in to save the day, and prevent the closing being delayed. Quality work comes at a price, and that's fine with me. This contractor offers a large array of services. Normally, you have to hire someone to update your bathroom plus another person to lay flooring and tile and a third person to do a closet organization system. They provide all these services. John is detail oriented and maintained a clean work site.

I contacted John about my chimney needing some work. I was on a slight time crunch as our roof was being replaced in a matter of a few weeks. John came to our place to assess the job and gave me a quote. After we agreed John showed up the day he said he would be there. He made the whole experience hassle free for me, he retrieved all the materials needed and kept in close communication during the project. He drove to many different stores to get the best price on the materials needed and through his determination he even secured a cap for the chimney free of charge! He painted my bedroom and did a wonderful job. It’s a large bedroom, and it took a few hours one day. Very pleased with his work.
